I booked the company for same-day Junk removal in downtown Raleigh. Jake and Elliot were great, super helpful and fast. Overall great experience — one word of warning is that while the company does its best to be same-day, unless you’re the first one on the docket, expect some delays. My original estimated start time was 9-11am, but we got started around 12:30pm.

Joseph and These guys are excellent. Very professional and time efficient. I could not have asked for a better service provide...I just wish I’d been aware of the work they do much earlier…it would have saved me a lot of headache. They know their stuff well enough to offer me very welcomed advise. And they do it with a friendly attitude. All I was required to do was sit and relax…and direct every now and then. They came fully prepared to get me moving out of the old place…and into the new. All with a lot of energy and smiles galore. I have enjoyed their company…albeit professional…and I’d definitely use them again (hopefully not anytime soon)…or refer their services.

Roy, Rob, Randy, and Marlon just left my house for an unpack. Very good crew! Took awesome care of our stuff, prepped the house so they didn’t damage any walls/stairs and even worked to fix the errors of the other business that packed our stuff months ago. Highly recommend Raleigh Peach Movers

Thank you, Champion Movers for moving me from Chandler, AZ to Muscatine, Iowa. I am grateful to Scott for beginning the journey on a very positive note. He eased my apprehension every step of the way and made me a believer that there are still moving companies with staff who truly care. I will be recommending Champion Movers to one and all. Keep up the great work and a heartfelt thank you!

Matt and Gio were great with my move into the storage unit. They were efficient and communicated expectations for the move well. They did a good job arranging items to maximize space in the unit. I would highly recommend both guys and Triangle Labor Services to anyone who is looking to move.

I recently called around for upcoming move and am glad I found family movers. Their rates are better than most companies and their office people are professional and friendly. On the day of the move I received a call telling me my 3 man crew were on the way. When Marcus Jason and Raymond arrived they introduced themselves and got straight to work. I anticipated 7 hours for the move but these guys got it done in 4.5 hours. Not 1 scratch or ding to any wall or furniture. They kept me relaxed and comfortable the whole move which is a blessing since we all know how stressful moving can be. I would give more stars if possible as someone who has used moving companies in the past this is by far the smoothest move ever. So if your moving make sure you call Family movers express , you will not be disappointed. Thanks again to everyone involved.

FAQs

Quick answers before you request quotes

Are you a moving company?
Yes — we’re Raleigh NC’s local moving company. We own the trucks, employ our W-2 crew, and hold NC HHG + USDOT/MC operating authority ourselves. No subcontracting, no broker chain.
How does pricing work?
We quote flat-rate, in writing, based on inventory + access + add-ons. Whatever Priya writes on the quote is what you pay at delivery — no hourly traps, no fuel surcharge added at the end, no rebill.
How many quotes will I get?
One — from us. We do not subcontract or fan out your number to a dozen brokers. Our crew, our quote, one phone call to confirm.
What kinds of moves do you handle?
Local Wake County, intrastate North Carolina, and long-distance from Raleigh NC to anywhere in the Southeast. Specialty items (piano, gun safe, antiques) included.
How are you insured?
We carry minimum $1M cargo liability on every move. Full Value Protection (declared-value coverage on the entire shipment) is available as a paid upgrade — usually $30–$80 premium depending on declared value. Strongly recommended for anything fragile or high-value.
Will you ask for a deposit?
We take a small refundable hold to lock your date (typically $100–$200). If any mover asks for more than 20% upfront on a residential move, that’s an FMCSA red flag — we don’t. Brandon will explain our deposit terms before you book.
What if I want to cancel?
Our cancellation policy is on the written quote — typically 72-hour notice for a full refund of any deposit. Day-of cancellations may incur a partial fee that covers our crew’s reserved time.
