This Privacy Policy describes how Triangle Labor Services (operating 247movinglabor.com) collects, uses, and protects information you provide when you request a quote, call our office, or use this website.
1. What we collect
When you submit the quote form, we collect: name, phone number, email (optional), origin ZIP, destination ZIP, target move date, home size, and any notes you add. When you call, we collect the same information verbally to build a written flat–rate quote.
This website uses standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) for security and basic site analytics. We do not use third–party advertising trackers. We do use a privacy-respecting site analytics tool to understand site usage patterns; you can opt out by enabling Do Not Track in your browser.
2. How we use it
We use the information you submit to: (a) build your written flat–rate quote and email it back; (b) book your move date if you accept the quote; (c) coordinate move–day logistics (crew assignment, COI delivery, freight elevator booking); (d) follow up after the move for review feedback.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with a broker network. We do not fan your phone number out to third–party movers or lead aggregators.
3. TCPA + SMS / call opt–out
By submitting the quote form, you consent to be contacted by Triangle Labor Services at the phone or email you provide, including by automated SMS where applicable. Standard message and data rates may apply.
To opt out:
- SMS: Reply STOP to any SMS from us. You will be unsubscribed within one business day.
- Phone: Call +1 (888) 711-4778 and ask to be removed from our call list.
- Email: Email [email protected] with subject “REMOVE” and we will delete your contact from our quoting list.
- National Do Not Call: We honor the FTC National Do Not Call registry. To register your number, visit donotcall.gov.
4. How long we keep it
Quote requests we did not move (no booking) are kept for 90 days, then deleted. Quote + booking records for completed moves are kept for 7 years for tax, insurance claim, and federal household–goods regulation purposes (49 CFR § 375 applies to interstate moves).
5. Who we share it with
We share information only with parties needed to complete your move:
- Our crew (W–2 employees of Triangle Labor Services, background–checked)
- Insurance carrier for cargo coverage claims, if any
- Building managers, HOA representatives, or freight elevator schedulers (for COI delivery and access coordination, only with your knowledge)
- Federal/North Carolina regulators if legally required (FMCSA, TDOT, IRS)
We never share with marketing networks, broker aggregators, lead resellers, or third–party movers.
6. Your rights
Access: You can ask for a copy of the information we have about you by emailing [email protected].
Correction: You can ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
Deletion: You can ask us to delete your contact information at any time (subject to the 7–year retention rule for completed moves, where federal regulation requires us to keep records).
California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act: the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it (subject to legal retention), the right to opt out of any sale of personal information (we do not sell yours), and the right to non–discrimination for exercising these rights. Email [email protected] with subject line “CCPA REQUEST” to exercise these rights.
7. Security
Our quote form is served over HTTPS. Submitted information is stored on our secured CRM behind authentication. We do not transmit your information by unencrypted email or store it on public–facing servers. If we ever suffered a data breach, we would notify affected customers within applicable federal and North Carolina notification windows.
8. Children’s privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. The effective date above will be updated when we do. Continued use of the site or submission of new quote requests after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
